My journey into skincare and hair care started during the COVID years.

Like many men, I knew very little about skincare. If a product looked good, had flashy marketing, or was trending online, I would buy it without ever looking at the ingredients list. I tried product after product, trusting the brand names and promises on the packaging.

Over time, I started learning more about what was actually going into the products I was using. That's when I discovered how many products were filled with harsh ingredients, unnecessary additives, sulphates, parabens, and ingredients that didn't belong in a daily routine.

The more I learned, the more selective I became.

I started reading ingredient lists, researching formulations, and filtering out brands that didn't meet my standards. Surprisingly, most of them did.

The brands that remained were good products, and I used many of them. But I noticed something else.

Almost every brand was built primarily for women or marketed as unisex. Very few brands truly understood men's needs, lifestyles, and routines. And the brands that claimed to be for men often focused more on marketing than on the quality of their formulations.

That realization stayed with me.

As men, we spend our lives working hard, building careers, supporting families, protecting the people we love, and carrying responsibilities every day. Yet when it comes to self-care, we're often expected to settle for products that were never truly created with us in mind.

I believe we deserve better.

We deserve better skin.
We deserve better hair.
We deserve products that are honest, effective, and built around quality rather than hype.

That's why I started madSKINN.

Not to create another skincare brand.

But to create the kind of brand I was looking for myself.
